New Site

I finally got around to a much needed redesign of my site. I am getting a little better at the whole website design thing. It took me a fourth of the time to completely redo my site than it did to do it the first time. I hope you guys like the new site. feel free to give me feedback. I am also trying to design a logo too, so if you have any ideas for that let m know. I am really in the mood to go shoot something (with my camera) but i don't know what. anyone have any ideas? I also want to go on photo road trip, if any one wants to join let me know.

lost lens

Well, on the 11th i ordered a new lens and paid the little extra fr 3 day shipping. it still hasnt come. evidently it got lost somewhere between adorama and ups. needless to say i was pretty bummed. i was going to get the 17-85 f4.0 usm is but now i think i might just have them keep it since they havent been very helpful at all. now i think i might get the 20 2.8 usm or the 85 1.8 usm. im leaning toward something wide so i might go with the 20mm since i already have a 50mm 1.8 on a 20D. I also think i am going to stick with getting my gear from B&H (although they close for every holiday on the planet). i am also looking for some models. I need some practice shooting people, like outside posing, if you are interested just let me know.

Im an award winning photographer

Well i really dont update here that often because I rarely have to shoot because of work and school. However I do have a couple of Jobs coming up. I am going to be doing my friend Pete's engagement Pictures which I am pretty stoked about. There is another job coming up which might be my first paying job, so im pretty nervous about that. But im not 100% certain about the details or if it is even a sure thing yet. Well, I won the photo contest held downtown. I am pretty excited about that. So now I am officially "an award winning amateur photographer". I dont think there was a prize because I wasnt even officailly notified I won. Trevor called me at 9:30 at night to congratulate me on my picture in the paper and I had no idea what he was talking about. So thanks Trev for letting me know, if not i still might not of figured it out. So if you get the Lees Summit Journal It was on the front page of the downtown section it also took up half a page on the inside. I think my family bought all the copies so if you dont have one good luck finding one. I am also in the process of redesigning my site, I still havent quite figured out what i am doing though, I dont have any new pictures but hopefully I can get time to take some new ones sometime soon.
